ORAL-B – SENSITIVITY RELIEF

The Oral-B project presented us with an exhilarating technical challenge that required nothing but the best in the industry to bring it to life. The concept was ambitious: to showcase our heroine’s struggle with tooth sensitivity when exposed to hot or cold foods in a single, sequence shot. When sensitivity struck, she would be caught up in a mind-bending boomerang effect while the motion around her remained normal.

A REFRESHING APPROACH

To execute this, we leaned towards technical ingenuity. We meticulously designed and constructed an expansive, intricately detailed set, engineered with precision to facilitate the flawless transitions required for the shot. This set was a testament to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of filmmaking.

BRACE YOURSELVES

One of the key technical innovations was the creation of a specialized mount for our actress. This mount served as the pivot point for her seamless transition between different spaces within the set. It was a vital component that allowed us to achieve the desired visual effect.

THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX

The actual boomerang shots were captured with the actress positioned within the set on a chroma backdrop. This strategic choice enabled us to apply the mind-boggling boomerang effect to her while maintaining the camera’s perspective as “normal.” It was an intricate dance of technical precision and creative vision.

This project was a true test of our team’s ability to think outside the box and find innovative technical solutions. It challenged us to push the boundaries of what’s possible in filmmaking, and the result was a visually stunning and technically groundbreaking piece that showcased our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our work.
