AXON – THE HACK
Axon is a cyber security company that reached out to us to create and produce their first brand film. The film was driven by the striking fact that “A cyber-attack happens every 39 seconds,” a line you’ll recognize from the film as we carry it throughout to emphasize this constant threat in the digital world.
ACCESSING THE WORLD OF CYBER SECURITY
We wanted to make the often hard-to-grasp concept of cyber threats something you can see and almost feel. It’s all about making this complex topic accessible and interesting for everyone.
Keeping that in mind, and to really make Axon’s message stand out, we went for cool camera tricks and slick transitions that kept the film smooth and engaging. The movement made it possible for us to stitch together the scenes in a way that takes you on a clear, easy-to-follow journey into the world of cyber security.
GOING VIRAL
Pushing the envelope, we used 3D VFX to make the film even more engaging. These effects weren’t just for show; they helped us visually explain the complex world of cyber threats and added another dimension to the commercial– you can literally feel yourself going deeper into the cyber world as the film progresses.
JUST FOR THE HACK OF IT
We wanted to bring viewers into the heart of Axon, where all the action happens. At the time though, their offices were not complete, which presented a small challenge for us. Without thinking twice, we decided to build our very own Axon cyber room in our studio, featured in the last scene.
CONNECTING THE DOTS
From start to finish, every part of this commercial – the script, the casting, the VFX, and the set – was put together to clearly show Axon as a serious, innovative player in the world of cyber security. Taking it one step further, the film reminds us that we are all targets on the web.
